  • Why 3PL/Client Relationships Fail
A third-party logistic study conducted a study across 1,091 companies from various industries, dealing with 3PLs.  As many as 77% of the surveyed organizations admitted that their relationship with their service provider could not be described as satisfactory (Langley and Capgemini 2005). Company procurement management are sometimes guilty of making spot purchases on the standing of pricing alone, then go on to discover that the consequential cost of handling is unreasonably high. ITI is a knowledgeable firm which wants to tackle the following questions prior to engaging in any form of business: - in optimizing the transport, should you best ship ROAD, SEA, RAIL, AIR? - what is your unitization pattern? - is your product palletized? >If so, what size are your pallets? - How loose is your product?
